From Chair Yoga to Myofascial Release to Zumba, we have something for every age and fitness levels. For a current schedule of group exercise classes and class descriptions, please pick up a copy from the lobby. Description of some of our popular classes is listed below:
Low Impact Zumba: Fun class which is ideal for beginners, seniors and anyone who prefers a slower Zumba class. Come enjoy rhythms such as Merengue, Salsa, Cumbia, Belly Dance, Tango, Cha Cha and other exciting rhythms and dances. Helps improve balance, flexibility, strength and cardiovascular.
Boot Camp for Everyone: Circuit training, strength and cardio. Class is for all fitness levels.
Silver Sneakers: We offer 3 classes a week. Class uses bands, weights and silver sneaker balls to improve strength, flexibility and balance.
Muscle Pump: A high repetition workout focusing on working all the major muscle groups with the use of plate loaded barbell.
Zumba: High energy fun class moving to Latin music.
New Classes in session
Adaptive Chair Yoga: For anyone whose limited strength or mobility has kept them from trying yoga. Poses are adapted to an individual’s current limitations. Ideal for people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and a variety of Muscular Dystrophic illnesses. Wheelchairs and walkers are welcome. Class is held every Monday from 11:30 – 12:00 p.m. in the Family Gym.
Self Myofascial Release & Massage: Myofascial release is a safe therapy that can be used as a preventative method or to promote the healing of an injured, stiff or painful muscle. The goal with myofascial release and self- massage is to release fascia restriction and restore healthy tissue. Class is held every Friday from 12:15 – 12:45 p.m. in the Family Gym.
Whether you are an elite athlete training for competition or simply someone who wants to look and feel better, our certified personal trainers can design a specific program to meet your individual needs and goals. Age 11 and up (ages 11-16 must have completed their youth fitness appointment prior to registration).
Youth Fitness Programs
This program is for youth ages 11-16 years old and is free to all members. Program is mandatory for youth before using both the weight room and cardio room.
All must sign up for an appointment with a trainer at the Front Desk. Upon completion of their appointment they will be issued a Yellow or Blue admittance card.
Medical & Wellness Evaluations
Your health and well-being is important to you, your loved ones and the Y. Our wellness coaches can help evaluate your current health and fitness status and help you set realistic personal goals. Evaluations include blood pressure screenings, body fat testing, fitness testing and cholesterol screenings.
Nutrition & Weight Management
Registered Dietitians are the food and nutrition experts that translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for healthy living. Whether your goals are weight loss, weight gain, improved health, increased energy or maximized sports performance. Our registered dietitian, Alissa Ogburn,RD,CLT,LD, can help you sort through the misinformation and create a nutrition plan just for you.

TAE KWON DO
Founded in Korea and is one of the popular modern martial arts. Class teaches agility, mental discipline and self-control and is taught by Chris Stutzman (5th Dan Black Belt) and John Larlee (1st Dan Black Belt). Class meets every Monday and Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
All participants will will need to purchase a Tae Kwon Do punch card to attend.
