The
YMCA of Hutchinson & Reno County offers a wide
variety of fitness equipment and programs to help
you get started on a fitness program. Our
friendly, knowledgeable YMCA certified fitness
trainers can help you with your fitness needs.
The cardiovascular
center consists of treadmills, stationary bikes, a
rower, a stair climber, elliptical trainers and arc
trainers. Our strength and toning room offers
a wide variety of Med-X, Nautilus and Hammer
Strength machines and free weights.
We offer a wide
variety of fitness programs to our members with the
hope that everyone will find one that meets his or
her individual needs. We encourage our members
to choose a structured class or an independent
workout at our facility, or to combine both methods.
Our goal here at
the Hutchinson Y is to motivate and encourage our
members to adopt a healthy lifestyle.
We currently offer
the following:
Group Fitness Classes:
We offer a total of
36 classes a week. Our wide selection of
classes fit any experiences for the beginner,
intermediate and advance exerciser. From high
intensity classes like Kickboxing, Body Boot Camp,
Cardio Party and Step to serene calming classes like
Yoga / Stretch, Pilates for Everyone and Tai Chi, we
try to meet every individual members needs to help
achieve their fitness goals.
A copy of the
current schedule can be picked up at the Front Desk.
All classes are FREE to members with the exception
of specialty classes which will require registration
at the Front Desk. Ages 12 and older may
participate in group exercise classes if they are
accompanies by an adult (18 or older).
Community participants wishing to participate in any
of these classes must check with the Front Desk for

Fitness Orientations:
It is highly
recommended that all members participate in a
fitness center orientation. New members can
sign-up for a one-hour free orientation session with
a certified YMCA personal trainer where they will be
shown how to use the machines in both the cardio
room and weight room. Trainers will assist you
in setting up a personalized fitness program.
We also provide youth orientations. Please

set-up an appointment or call Suresh at (620)
